Visions Booklet #1

Visions, Booklet 1 is now available for sell on my site.  Please see “Books” under the Miscellaneous Button.  My other two books, Basic Cabochons and Netting Lace Amulet Bags are both out of print.  I will be converting the patterns out of both of these books.  The patterns will be enhanced with color pictures and illustrations and will be much easier to follow.

Welcome
Tree
Hello, and welcome to my web site.  I am delighted to offer my designs to all those who love to bead.  I have been designing and teaching beading for over 18 years. I have written 2 books that are now out of print and a booklet that is available on this site.  In the process I have designed hundreds of pieces, including cabochon brooches and necklaces, amulet and dimensional bags, mock-loom necklaces, earrings, bracelets and many three-dimensional Christmas Ornaments (30+ designs).  Many of these pieces incorporate new techniques that I have developed.  I plan on putting all my designs on my site (it will take awhile).

I have worked hard to make my instructions as easy to follow as possible.  They include step-by-step detailed instructions and are enhanced by lots of color pictures and illustrations.  Some patterns will have 50 or more color pictures.  I have tried to include patterns at all levels of difficulty.  The level of difficulty is clearly marked.

I have also included free technique instructions and some free color-packed patterns.  I invite you to print these free instructions and patterns, but please only print for yourself.  If you have friends who are interested give them the name of my site so they can print their own.

You can buy the patterns and print a copy immediately on your machine or you can buy and have me print the pattern on a color laser printer and mail to you for a small additional charge (the cost of printing and shipping).  Since the patterns are so color depended, please print the test page to make sure your printer can handle them.

Please check back often, as I will be adding new patterns all the time. (Just as fast as I can get them written.)

Thank you for visiting my site,

Paula Adams

Featured item of the month:

The Crystal Square Box

When I was asked to create boxes I wasn’t real excited.  A box seemed pretty simple to me.  Well, it wasn’t as easy as I thought it was going to be and I found that I was really enjoying designing and making them.  The first one I am offering is the square box.  The pattern shows how to create really square corners, a lid that fits over the top and doesn’t slide off, and really ‘cool’ legs.   I must admit, I am very happy with the way the legs came out.  The overlay work adds beauty and sparkle and helps give strength to the sides.  The box is 2.75 inches wide and 3.25 inches high (including the lid).
